48 Hours NK

2 big shows in 2 days!

June 28th and 29th were two very important dates for me this summer. It was the first time that I would debut some of my new songs off my upcoming album, and play as a duo with my new drummer. I, along with another band called MTTM, was invited to take part in 48 Hours Neukölln, an art festival that happens every summer in my neighborhood. There were over 300 exhibitions to check out, as well as different musical performances. Makes for a very busy weekend!

To prepare for the concerts we practiced for weeks, I designed and organized T-Shirts (finally merch!) and worked with my producers on getting backing tracks in order to be able to perform my new songs. Not to mention, getting all the technical side of the stage in order! Thankfully the guys from MTTM let me borrow their gear and did some massive tech organization for me! The show would not have been a success without them! Please show them some love by following them on INSTAGRAM.

Here is how the shows went:
We played Friday at Saturday night. MTTM played from 20:10-21:00 and premiered their music video after their set. Then I played from 21:10-22:00 and premiered my music video RAIN (Live in the Practice Room) after my set. In between sets and after the show my song “STEADY” was played, but this was a special version, it was a REMIX! MTTM and I have been working on remixing the song and I think it sounds great!! We are going to meet up soon to make a release plan, and I will let you know when you will be able to hear it :)

I was able to live stream my set on Instagram. Can you spot the new songs? If you do not have time to watch the who concert, you can watch the recap here :)

Now I am back to focusing on finishing up my album and focus on all the administrative tasks that go along with that. Wish me luck!

I will check in soon,
